Otherlands Travel is a registered UK limited company, initially established as an operator in 2012 under the brand Go Barefoot up until the pandemic. How do I get in touch with local partners?
James and Tim, at Otherlands Travel, shall discuss your holiday interests and preferences with you to help identify the best destination and local partner to deliver your adventure. Together, we will provide independent honest advice and recommendations to ensure you have the best possible experience.
Are your trips for specific age groups or experiences?
Our local experts can design an itinerary to meet your specific requirements and considerations, whether a honeymoon or a family adventure, luxurious or budget friendly. We can additionally recommend local group tours for those individuals that wish to join a set-date departures and explore with other travellers.
Who is the contract with?
Applicable conditions are in accordance with local supplier’s contract, provided at the time of quotation and booking.
Are international flights included?
Clients are responsible for booking their own international flights to and from the destination. Our local partners will coordinate with you to ensure the planned flights connect with any other arrangements.
How is payment made?
Payment is made directly to Otherlands Travel partners by bank transfer or card payment. Local partners shall provide payment options and instructions, including the currency and cancellation conditions. Any applicable refunds are provided directly to you.
Is my holiday financially protected?
Your money is fully protected with any holidays booked with UK partners, as required by UK law. In destinations elsewhere, local travel operators adhere to their own national laws. We recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes any local supplier failure cover, as well as enquiring with your credit card provider in your home country if additional protection is provided with any payment. Otherlands Travel only recommends local partners with which we have had an established professional relationship, have received excellent client feedback, and who have a trustworthy reputation within the industry.
